This DVD examines three of Shakespeare's tragedies: his first, his most beloved, and his most famous. The Standard Deviants explore Titus Andronicus, Shakespeare's first tragedy - a flawed, but promising play - to highlight what makes a great tragedy, and to reveal that even Shakespeare had to learn his craft. Additionally, the program provides insight into understanding the poetry, characters, and plot of Romeo and Juliet.
