Measuring Your World Series - Number Crunching

Measuring Your World is a series of five project-based programs on the subject of mathematics, ecology and statistics. This program discusses mathematical relationships between statistical data such as averages, means, modes, media and how they are calculated. If focuses on how each of these mathematical tools can be used to make predictions about future data. It follows the activities of Students for a Better Earth as they sample air pollution levels of their community.
