Here are 50 activities that can be used as supplementary aids in teaching units on prefixes and suffixes, alphabetizing, silent letters, compound words, vowels and consonants, spelling rules, and more. The Challenge games and puzzles allow your students to work – individually or in groups – to shore up their skills in problem areas without feeling as if they are ‘rehashing’ old material.
