Algebra 2 Tutor: Solving Systems Of Equations By Addition

This lesson teaches students how to solve a system of equations using the addition method. In this technique, one equation of the system is added to the other equation in order to eliminate one of the variables. This allows the solution to be found without any graphing required. Numerous examples are presented in order to reinforce this material.
